I gave the trick or treaters nostalgic candy this year for Halloween. I put in a Pixie Stick, candy buttons, a sugar daddy, Safe T Pop and a roll of Smarties in a baggie and they loved it. It really went over great

Oh I also love a good chewy Tootsie Roll. Just chocolate though, don't care much for the fruit flavored. And of course I love the Tootsie Roll Pops. They did Tootsie Roll on Unwrapped Halloween Week. I love Unwrapped!!! It's the way I get my candy fix these days w/o actually getting the calories, lol.

remember the tootsie roll machine? where you put a tootsie roll in,then put the cap over it and pull the handle and it forces the tootsie roll into the mold. it came with about 6 different shapes.***********************************************************

Re: What were your favorite candies and confections as a child?
How many watch that show Unwrapped? Its on the Food network. They sometimes show how those older, nastalgic type candies are still made. Oh yeah, I remember the hot fudge cake and Sugar Daddy on the stick - yummy!
