Re: Favorite Songs
Always stay at the Wayfare's Inn on the old Route 66. They have an outside pool, it's nice to go for a swim in January. All the locals think I'm nuts but compared to the 40 below here they can't scare me, the weather there is always really fine. ha-ha
Then hit the hard winter driving up thru Utah, Montana and Alberta. Back to 40 below and serious white outs; but it's really worth the trip each winter. Last year I made it all the way down to Memphis Tennessee... for Elvis's Birthday party. You are absolutely great people! I was on an 8 week trip and partied every night with all of you and kept being called the crazy canuck, even at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. I saw the March of the Ducks! Darn, I forgot... Sorry for carryiing on so much here. I also stayed at Holbrook AZ. Close by the Wigmam Motel where they have actual Wigwams to stay in. I was up the street but had heard of those when I was a little kid.
Got into some crazy assed Mexican food that night and almost took the roof of my mouth off. Good food, but it took to many beers to put the fire out. lol ..................... Linda Ronstadt - Tracks of my tears |

Re: Favorite Songs
Steven Tyler Reportedly May Leave Aerosmith
Aerosmith may be looking to replace frontman Steven Tyler, despite their looming 40th anniversary. Aerosmith may be looking to replace frontman Steven Tyler, despite the band's 40th anniversary less than a year away. Tyler's possible departure is reportedly linked to the singer's focus on his solo career. In an interview with Classic Rock magazine, he said he doesn't know what he'll be doing next "but it's definitely going to be something Steven Tyler, working on the brand of myself — Brand Tyler." Classic Rock magazine reports that Aerosmith is planning to meet without Tyler to discuss possibly replacing him or going on a long hiatus. Guitarist Brad Whitford said Tyler leaves "big shoes to fill" and that no one could imitate him. "But, if somebody was willing to do it and the chemistry was right, why not?" said Whitford. The 61-year-old singer suffered a fall off the stage during a show in Abu Dhabi, which reportedly put strain on the band that had to cancel the rest of the tour. Aerosmith formed in 1970 and have released 14 albums. Among their most famous music includes 'Walk This Way,' 'Janie's Got a Gun,' and 'Dude (Looks Like a Lady.) |
